Children between 2.5 and 4 years old can come and listen to a picture book. Afterwards, they can get creative. They can do crafts, sing, play or dance.For toddlers, it's wonderful to get creative or active after reading aloud. A story stimulates their imagination and invites play. By then doing crafts, building, singing or moving, they process what they've heard in their own way. This is how the story truly comes to life, and they learn new words, feelings, and ideas through play. Moreover, it strengthens the bond between parent and child – reading together, discovering together!
