Concert Con Anima has a message.

‘Let us be gentle with each other’, a stanza from a poem by Adriaan Roland Holst encapsulates what Con Anima want to convey to you. Con Anima performs a lullaby, written in a concentration camp, a plea to Mary after the great tsunami in Asia, and that a life without tenderness is not an option, is also being presented to hear. 

This is just a snippet of the programme that holds more surprises, such as the mystery of the night. We sing polyphonically, in various languages, from French to Georgian, accompanied and a cappella. About hope, love, and connection. Come and let yourself be touched. 

Con Anima is a mixed choir that originated in the Vrijeschool Breda. They have been singing for a long time under the inspiring leadership of René Rovers and are this time accompanied by Anju Rodenburg on piano and violin.
