By Spotlight and Breda Solidair Spotlight and Breda Solidair organise a monthly intercultural living room in Breda. The café then transforms into a warm meeting place with delicious food, Arabic music, dance, workshops, and joint activities. The goal is connection and resistance.Spotlight Team International Art is an independent cultural organization from Breda focusing on art and human rights. Creativity is used as a tool for empowerment, cultural connection, and the creation of safe community spaces for expression and dialogue. Spotlight is active in the Netherlands, Gaza (Palestine), Syria, and other parts of the diaspora. Projects such as Art Tents, Pigeon Posts, community programmes, and creative dialogues support minorities, refugees, stateless people, and young artists.Breda Solidair is a local activist group committed to Palestine, solidarity, and justice. They regularly organise demonstrations, meetings, and actions in and around Breda.

Every Friday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, a community-focused organization or artist takes over the café. These afternoons are called Cafélokaal. The bar is open, there is always something to see, do, or make, and everyone is welcome to drop by – even for a coffee.
