BUT Film Festival 2026 (21st edition)

The 21st edition, titled 'Simply the Pest', celebrates five days of the beauty of the unwanted with an international programme full of B-movies, underground and trash culture. This year, the festival welcomes a true cult legend: the controversial German director Uwe Boll, who will be present in person to leave his mark on the programme. 

Alongside films at Chassé Cinema, Filmhuis Breda and Nieuwe Veste, BUTFF offers an explosion of shorts, documentaries, art, performances, poetry and music. Leave the safe mainstream behind for an extravagant mix of bloody horror and absurd camp.
