About the film
The Salt Path (Het Zoutpad) is the film adaptation of Raynor Winn's bestseller of the same name. This inspiring, true story explores the meaning of feeling at home, coping with grief, and the healing power of nature. Couple Raynor and Moth Winn find themselves in the autumn of their lives when they unexpectedly lose their home and Moth discovers that he is seriously ill. 

Together, the couple make the brave decision to walk the centuries-old South West Coast Path, hoping that the challenging trek and the English countryside can offer them comfort. With an empty bank account, a tent, and minimal essential belongings, they begin determinedly on a remarkable journey of over a thousand kilometres.
