About the film
In this sunny musical comedy, Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, and Amanda Seyfried shine on a Greek island full of romance, misunderstandings, and of course unforgettable pop classics like Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, and Take a Chance on Me. The sequel to the first film tells both the story of a young Donna and that of Sophie in the present day. 

While Donna finds her way through love, dreams, and important choices after meeting Sam, Harry, and Bill, Sophie faces the challenge of starting a new chapter in her life without her mother. As such, the film weaves past and present into a warm and moving story about family, love, and self-discovery.
