BredaPhoto X Tilt: lecture of queer stories by authors

Levenslijnen is more than just narrative photography. In collaboration with Tilt, BredaPhoto also brings queer stories to life in written form. Writers Ludwig Volbeda, Ayden Carlo, Falun Ellie Koos, and Trijntje van de Wouw were inspired by the characters from the exhibition and each wrote a personal letter. These letters will be read aloud during a special evening and can also be viewed in the exhibition.

• The authors will read their letters and engage in a conversation with moderator Roos van Rijswijk.
• The photographs that inspired them can be admired in the exhibition at Clublokaal.
• Ype Driessen offers an exclusive insight into his creative process and talks about making his photo comics.

The result of Ype’s collaboration with five Breda-based participants – complemented by a selection from his own oeuvre – can be seen at the entrance of Nieuwe Veste throughout November.
