Bleach 'Nirvana Tribute' in MEZZ

On 5 April 1994, an abrupt end came to Nirvana when frontman Kurt Cobain died. Bassist Krist Novoselic and drummer Dave Grohl decided not to continue the band. It marked the disappearance of one of the most influential grunge bands on the scene, a genre that broke through worldwide in the 1990s, partly thanks to Nirvana’s raw and intense sound.

The Breda band Bleach brings that unmatched energy back to life. On Cobain's death anniversary, they will present a special tribute to Nirvana at MEZZ. Bleach is known for their powerful live performances, transforming every stage into a grunge experience reminiscent of the golden days of the '90s. The band has performed multiple times live on 3FM and was declared the winner of the Kurt Cobain Reincarnation Contest, recognition of their compelling tribute.

During this evening, Bleach will open with an acoustic set inspired by MTV Unplugged, followed by an electric set filled with classics. This unique combination has not been seen before and will be presented as a premiere in their hometown Breda.
