About Marjolein van Eig
At the end of 2024, her book ‘De Ruimtes’ was published, and in 2021, the book ‘Het Detail’. Since January 2022, Van Eig has been a member of the committee on environmental quality and cultural heritage of Rotterdam.
After the lecture, Marjolein will engage in a discussion with Jessica Hammarlund Bergmann about what the craft of design means for the spatial quality of the city.

Jessica is an urban planner and partner at Blau Urban Planning and Landscape, Chair of the Advisory Committee on Environmental Quality Breda, City Architect of Enschede, and board member at BNSP.
