The Bakhuisjesroute takes us past farms with special outbuildings, namely bakehouses. Bakehouses were originally built attached to the farm, later detached due to fire hazards.

During this route, you will visit some bakehouses, some with interesting stories from the owners themselves. This will give you not only a beautiful route but also a piece of interesting history.
