Big Sleep in MEZZ

The emerging band Big Sleep blends their indie-pop qualities with alternative rock and soul sounds, citing influences such as Big Thief, JJ Cale, Jamiroquai, and The Cure. Their debut EP 'Isn't That Sweet' quickly garnered a lot of support on the radio and they are now set to make a splash with their second EP. Since their debut EP, they have toured with Somebody’s Child and received international recognition on radio stations, undertaking a substantial European tour.

Big Sleep has certainly been productive! With their nomination as 2FM Rising Artists for 2024, the band is guaranteed a spot on the radio playlist of the largest commercial pop station 2FM, and they have also been nominated for the Ticketmaster Irish Rising Star Award 2024. In 2023, the debut EP ‘Isn’t That Sweet’ was released, featuring the catchy indie guitar hits from Big Sleep out of Dublin. Singles such as ‘Easy’, ‘Maccy D’s’, and ‘All Of The Pretty Things’ received significant airplay. For their second EP, they collaborated with Chris Ryan (NewDad, Just Mustard, CHALK) and it is set to see the light of day soon.
