During Battle of the Bands, various acts face each other in short, energetic sets. Each round determines which bands advance to the final. The performances range from rock to indie and from alternative pop to electronic-influenced live acts.

Point of Madness
Point of Madness is a four-piece band, born from a shared love for the 1980s new wave. Their sound is driven by pulsating drum computers, tight, danceable basslines, and guitar work. The band has firmly established itself within the Breda music scene and has played at Breda Barst, Bühne, Café Lievense, and during the Grote Prijs van Breda.

After Eight
After Eight emerged in early 2023 from a spontaneous garage concert as a farewell from a parental home. What started with covers and two original songs quickly grew into a band when those original songs unexpectedly resonated. After Eight consists of Sonja Wilhart (vocals/guitar), Jelle van der Sar (guitar), Sako Milikian (bass), and Joram van Noort (drums/vocals). Each band member writes their own music in a unique way, creating a distinctive mix of styles.

MONOWOLF
MONOWOLF is a high-voltage alt-rock duo from the Netherlands. Founded by frontman Dirk Wolf and powerhouse drummer Luc de Vree, the band combines the raw energy of the ’90s with punk attitude and modern rock. Think heavy riffs, massive sing-along refrains, and pure intensity.  

Tight Barrel
Tight Barrel is an indie pop/rock band formed in Eindhoven at the Rock City Institute. The band makes cheerful, energetic songs with powerful instrumentation and vivid lyrics about responsibilities, new challenges, and recognisable phases in young adult life.
