Bach on Sunday at the Grote Kerk Breda

During six organ concerts at the Grote Kerk Breda, Stichting Art UnOrganized combines the sounds of the Vierdag organ with a different musical instrument each week.

ArtUnOrganized is organising a series of organ concerts on Sunday mornings on the Vierdag organ. This is the temporary organ that replaces the Hillen during its restoration.

In this series, you can enjoy the interplay between organ and other instruments.

  • 6 July 2025: Wim Diepenhorst (organ) and Helbertine Hylkema (violin)
  • 13 July 2025: Aart Bergwerff (organ) and Raaf Hekkema (saxophone)
  • 20 July 2025: Pieter Dirksen (organ) and Quirine van Hoek (violin)
  • 27 July 2025: Emmanuel van Kerckhoven (organ) and Alain de Rudder (baroque trumpet)
  • 3 August 2025: Laurens de Man (organ) and Ben Kazez (baritone)
  • 10 August 2025: Aart Bergwerff (organ) and Santiago de Cimadevilla (bandoneon)
Because you are close to the musicians and the pieces are explained, these concerts are a truly immersive experience.
