Daniel Daréus, a world-renowned conductor, suffers a heart attack during a concert. He leaves his busy life and returns to his youthful village. There, he is asked to lead the village choir. What begins as a simple task grows into a powerful process that transforms the entire village. Music breaks down barriers, resolves conflicts, and unites the community. At the same time, Pastor Stig feels his authority threatened by the new dynamic.
