Art project Do you sometimes wear a tracksuit?
Information
More than sixty letters from children to three powerful figures are on display at Nieuwe Veste Breda. In the art project 'Do you sometimes wear a tracksuit?' by Zuid Land, handwritten letters from children provide a personal insight that digital messages often lack.
A handwritten letter is a sincere, personal, and authentic gesture in an increasingly virtual world. Whether it's a thank-you note, an invitation, or a personal story, the impact of a letter can be profound.
One hundred children wrote a letter to three powerful figures: an almighty being, a parent/caregiver, or the ruler of a country. These quirky, moving, and humorous letters full of questions form the heart of the installation 'Do you sometimes wear a tracksuit?'
Step inside and see the world and yourself through the eyes of these young people.
