Amadeus (4K Restoratie) - Chassé Cinema

The life of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Tom Hulce) unfolds through the poisoned perspective of his contemporary and court composer Antonio Salieri (F. Murray Abraham in his career-defining role). 

In his bitter reflection, Salieri describes how he was musically humiliated by the young Mozart at the height of his fame, leading to an obsessive attempt to undermine his genius. Additionally, Amadeus is an exuberant sensory spectacle, where Mozart's music, theatrical staging, rich costumes, and the visual splendor of eighteenth-century Vienna merge into pure cinema. 

The film won eight Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Supporting Actor, and is now returning to cinemas in a 4K restoration by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for the first time since its original release, in its original theatrical cut.
