ALL BROKEN: Captain Kaiser + Wet Sox + Florida Men

The evening at Pier15 where Everything Breaks! The same craziness as at the notorious outdoor festivals, but comfortably in the café.

Information

Wet Sox brings again, like in previous editions, totally awesome bands that deliver exactly that energy.

Captain Kaiser
Nobody is responsible for the success of Captain Kaiser itself, besides the five Kempenzonen who are in it. They are punk to the core and make venues sweat, without hype and without bullshit. Together with producer and hardcore enthusiast Jay Maas (Defeater), Captain Kaiser continues to spit catchy melodies, but has become sounder and more mature. Some call it post-punk, others hardcore. But you can also just feel the songs, where they hurt.
With their music, the Kempenzonen want to celebrate life, only now they also know that this can sometimes feel like a blunt axe in your neck. Sometimes you party with your friends, sometimes you see just one bastard with a sickle.
Captain Kaiser puts it all on a pedestal and then throws it into the moshpit again.

Wet Sox
Wet socks! Ingredients: A washing line with socks as a backdrop, singing along, crowdsurfing, frontman more in the pit than on stage, having a blast, dancing, laughing and falling into each other’s arms, and afterwards feeling satisfied. Wet Sox is described as Singalong Punkrock with a Hardcore Attitude and as a well-oiled, experienced fun machine.

Florida Men
This punk band from Leeuwarden is known for Ramonescore and catchy punkrock songs influenced by bands like Screeching Weasel and Descendents. What started as a side project has grown into a full-fledged band with two albums. The latest release, 'Dive Bar,' is scheduled for July 2024 on Monster Zero Records. The band is known for writing short, direct songs with a mix of romantic themes and general idiocy.
