Alex Henry Foster in MEZZ

Alex Henry Foster is a Canadian musician, author, producer, and composer. He was the frontman of the band Your Favorite Enemies for many years, a group that was nominated for the Juno Awards.

In 2018, he released his first solo album ‘Windows in the Sky’, a dreamy explosion of post-rock reminiscent of artists such as Hammock, Asche & Spencer, Mogwai, and Explosions in the Sky.

With his most recent EP ‘A Whispering Moment’, Alex Henry Foster explores the transformation of a single track through four different performances and recordings. The result is a deeply immersive and emotionally raw experience.

He describes the record as “a work that at first glance may seem a sad reflection on the transience of love, but in reality is about finding peace and meaning in our darkest moments.”
