Accessibility Week: Sensory-Friendly Dinner at Restaurant De Peer
Information
Having dinner with friends or family in a calm, low-stimulation environment is a wish shared by many people. Think of individuals with, for example, autism, long COVID, highly sensitive persons, and people with acquired brain injuries (ABI).
They are often unable to dine out without accommodations.
On Tuesday, 7th October, a low-stimulation dinner will take place at Restaurant De Peer. The room has been made as low-stimulation as possible.
De Peer offers the menu at a great price. There is a maximum number of places, so when it's full, it's full. You can also be put on the waiting list.
The main adjustments:
- There is a separate room available for this dinner
- Age from 16 years and no large groups
- No background music
- Tables are placed further apart and along the walls
- Altered lighting
- Ambient sounds are minimised as much as possible
- There will be a host present. Feel free to ask for support if needed!
You can specify any allergies when registering. After registering, you will receive a confirmation.
Note! Registration is open until Tuesday, 30th September.
