Breda residents who want to celebrate liberation with Polish Liberators are invited to participate in the parade with vintage military vehicles on Saturday afternoon, October 26.&nbsp; The parade will depart from Wolfslaar and travel through the streets where, 80 years ago, the soldiers of the 1st Polish Armoured Division entered Breda, heading towards the Parade.&nbsp; From the Parade (behind Botanique, the former Chassé barracks), accompanied by the best Polish Military Orchestra from Żagań, the procession will march to the centre of Breda. And to the sounds of the Bell Ringers Guild from the Grote Markt, it will continue to the Kasteelplein.&nbsp;There, the celebration will burst forth with music, dancing, delicious food, and much more, as all attendees celebrate the liberation of Breda with the descendants of the Liberators. Just as their fathers did 80 years ago.This afternoon, the mayor of Breda will officially open the White Carnation Park (Valkenberg) in honour of the Breda Veterans who have fought for peace and freedom around the world, just like the Poles.
