About Mr and Mrs Bloem
Meneer en Mevrouw Bloem are the artist duo consisting of Jetske Apollonia and Sam Maske. Driven by their shared, playful curiosity, they explore themes such as ecology, gender identity, emotional development, and human relationships. 

Their practice transcends mediums: for each project, they reinvent the form, ranging from performance and music to puppet theatre and sculpture. 

About their 49m²-residency
During their 49m²-residency, they focus on the non-human stories of the park. Having previously researched the human experience of this place, they now shift their focus to the materiality of the landscape: the soil, the water, the trees, and the stones.  

By collecting these natural materials and creating a sculpture with them, they allow the park to speak in its own language and simultaneously explore new forms of collaboration within their artistic practice.
