Wandering down St. Annastraat

Part of the Creative Route is the St. Annastraat. Wonderful to leisurely wander along the unique shops, small boutiques, and local creators. Not standard offerings, but special products with their own stories.

Street art

The murals of Blind Walls Gallery turn Breda into an open-air museum. Everywhere in and around the city, you can discover amazing murals that tell stories from the past and present. Did you know there are now more than 140 murals?

Lunch at Kamu

For lunch, I like to stop at Kamu. This special place is a coffee bar and bicycle shop in one and is located right on the Creative Route.

Urban Energy

At Pier15 there is always something to see and do. This skatepark is a meeting place where urban culture, sport, and creativity come together. There are also regular cool events and festivals organized.

The Nieuwe Mark

The Nieuwe Mark brings water back to the heart of Breda. I enjoy taking a walk along this new city river. Thanks to the river, there is more greenery, space, and life in the city centre.

I always pop in at the Explore Breda Store. Here you’ll find tips, routes, and changing exhibitions about the city. The perfect place to gather new ideas and score awesome Breda merchandise!

Tasteful surprise

In the evenings, I prefer to sit at Kej Caban. This Mexican restaurant is full of flavor and atmosphere. With its colorful dishes and beautiful interior, it's truly a must-do if you're in Breda.
