Breda shines again this winter. From 21 November to 4 January, you can once again enjoy the atmospheric covered winter terraces on the Grote Markt. Settle down for a bite to eat and a drink at the Winterwoud (Grote Markt south, under the trees) or at the Herberg on the Kerkplein.
Ice rink
From 12 December, the IJsplein will also be added. There you can enjoy skating on the ice rink and then relax in the covered catering area.
At skatepark Pier15 they have also taken into account the cold and wintery weather. Come and take a look at the winter terrace. Music is played here and specialty beers are enjoyed. You don't want to miss out!
Veilingkade 12
Want to spend more time among the greenery? In Valkenberg Park, you can enjoy dry and warm terraces at the T-House. Enjoy specialty beers, cocktails, snacks, and platter boards under the heater with background music. Regular jam sessions are also held at the T-House, definitely worth a visit if you love music!

The Grote Markt is full of life and vibrant, whether it's summer or winter. You can also enjoy a warm, covered seat on the terrace here. Settle down under the large umbrellas of Zeezicht, SamSam, or ’t Hart of Breda.
At Dok19 at the Harbour, you can now also stay nice and dry! There are new umbrellas linked together. No more leaks when it rains. And is it cold outside? No problem, because there are also heaters.
Haven 19
At Heeren van Breda you're dry and warm! On the heated and covered terrace of De Heeren van Breda, you can enjoy watching people pass by on the Grote Markt.

This Italian restaurant 'Ciao Belli' at the Grote Markt in Breda combines Italian food and drinks with a lovely spacious terrace. Even on cold or rainy days, you'll find a cozy spot here: the veranda offers a sheltered, covered area and the large umbrellas provide extra protection.
