Grote Markt
The Grote Markt is the beating heart of Breda. Even during the Breda Jazz Festival. Do you enjoy lively crowds and lots of terraces? Then you don't need to look any further because the music here sounds from midday until late at night.

Sint Janstraat
The small stage on Sint Janstraat is largely reserved for the DJ’s of De Zwarte Groef. They bring loads of vinyl to play before, between, and after the bands.

Veemarktstraat
The square halfway along Veemarktstraat is mainly dominated by Latin music. Here you really enter South American vibes. Do you enjoy a bit of salsa dancing? What are you waiting for?

Willem Merkxtuin
The Willem Merkxtuin is an unknown gem in Breda’s city centre, a peace garden at the back of the historic courtyard houses on Catharinastraat. Normally, you come here for peace and artworks. During the Jazz Festival, it becomes an intimate spot where you really go to enjoy the music.

Kasteelplein
Again this year, two stages at Kasteelplein.
- Kasteelplein North
Do you enjoy dancing? Then the Kasteelplein North stage will be your favourite spot! Here, a lot of swing music is played for swing dancers like Lindyhoppers. You can even join a Lindy Hop workshop.

At the Kasteelplein South stage, enjoy traditional jazz, jazz blues, and boogie woogie.

Kerkplein
When you say Rhythm & Blues, you say Kerkplein. On the stage between de Bruine Pij and the Grote Kerk, many young people find their favourite bands. It can get quite crowded here. This place is very popular among enthusiasts.
On Friday, the stage is reserved from 11:00-13:30 for school bands from various secondary schools in Breda.

Winkelhof 't Sas
't Sas is such a place that you just need to know how to find. A small shopping courtyard at the foot of the Grote Kerk. In the square in the middle of 't Sas and on the terrace of Marie Coco, you will find two real ‘listening pods’ for those who want to leave the busy festive atmosphere behind for a moment.

Havermarkt
The Havermarkt is the nightlife square of Breda all year round, and that’s no different during the Jazz Festival. Surrounded by pubs and terraces, you can enjoy spectacular acts non-stop for four days.

Spanjaardsgat
Speaking of spectacular! With the towers of the Spanjaardsgat serving as a historic backdrop, this is a four-day celebration. You need to come from good stock to perform on such a large stage, but the bands booked here have no trouble at all. And the audience? They create unforgettable parties on the pontoon at the Spinolaboot.

BAAI
BAAI is such a place by the water where it always feels like holiday. Just a little outside the centre, but easily walkable. At the stage at BAAI, mainly blues can be heard.

Station / Willemstraat
The Breda Jazz Festival sets out a musical pathway for everyone travelling to Breda by public transport. Throughout the days, marching bands perform in Willemstraat.
On Thursday, piano is performed at the station from 13.30-17.00, and on Friday from 14.15-16.00.
De Avenue
For some concerts in De Avenue, one of the festival's indoor venues, tickets are required. But this is also where the cream of the crop performs, such as on Saturday evening during the Classic Jazz Concert Night ft. Frog & Henry

Café Publieke Werken
Also, Café Publieke Werken is one of the indoor venues of the Breda Jazz Festival. On Friday evening, you can listen to the legendary saxophonist Hans Dulfer with his band here.

Grote Kerk Breda
A staple part of the Breda Jazz Festival is the gospel concert on Sunday morning. And where does the inspiring power of gospel music come to life better than in the iconic Grote Kerk? This year, Michelle David, a Festival Surprise Band, and the Za-El Gospel Choir will give the audience goosebumps.

Brandpunt
For the concerts at Brandpunt, the Breda Jazz Festival collaborates with Sound Europe, a Breda-based organisation that loves surprising performances and original combinations. Sound of Europe will bring modern jazz back to the festival this year.

The new partnership with Stedelijk Museum Breda from last year left us wanting more. That's why, this year as well, intimate concerts take place every day in the Museum café.

Chassé Theater
In the lead-up to the festival, Chassé Cinema will showcase four jazz films.

Nieuwe Veste Breda
You can never introduce children to (jazz) music too early. That’s why Nieuwe Veste hosts a full programme for children on Friday.
It starts with the Pluutjes Parade, where children can decorate their own Pluutjes. Afterwards, there are two concerts.

Hotel Nassau Breda
Hotel Nassau Breda guarantees a wonderful setting because the concert here takes place in the centuries-old chapel of the former Franciscan monastery.
