Zuyd

Restaurant Zuyd opened its doors on 6 October 2009 and is owned by the entrepreneurial couple Stefan Dirkx and Wendy Dirkx-Michielsen. Zuyd was located for years on Ginnekenweg in Breda Zuid and moved in 2025 to Pasbaan in the centre of Breda.

Stefan Dirkx, together with the kitchen brigade, processes fresh daily ingredients into creative and refined dishes. Stefan has gained extensive experience at various (starred) establishments across the country. His style of cooking is fundamentally French but features many worldly influences. From amuse-bouche to the sweet treat with coffee; everything is homemade and beautifully presented. The menu consists of a surprise menu of 4-7 courses, which can be complemented with various specials or a wine pairing.

The team of hostesses and hosts, led by Wendy, will ensure a relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere so you can enjoy a delicious lunch or a culinary evening out… of course at Restaurant Zuyd!
