Zeezicht

Enjoy special beers and fresh dishes at Zeezicht in Breda. A sustainable hotspot with a cozy terrace on the Grote Markt.

Zeezicht is a specialty beer café, lunch café, and restaurant all in one. But you can also enjoy coffee and tea, a glass of wine, or whiskey here. In the 'modern vintage' restaurant, you dine on fresh and internationally seasonal dishes.

At Zeezicht, they aim to waste as little as possible. That's why they collaborate with local farmers. Here, you can enjoy both vegetarian(n) options and meat dishes, and you can come here for lunch, drinks, and dinner. Nearly thirty years of good times at Zeezicht. You can choose to dine indoors, outside on the façade terrace, or under the large umbrellas on the Grote Markt. You can even sit with the neighbors at Café Sam Sam. Same owner, same kitchen.

Did you know that kwekerij Prinsenzwam cultivates their oyster mushrooms on coffee grounds from Zeezicht? And oh yes, almost forgot to mention that Zeezicht has no fewer than thirty beers on tap. A choice to stress over!

Having been a fixture in Breda for many years, I enjoy coming here in the weekend for a late lunch. It's nice to see how Daan embraces sustainability and continually renews it.
