At St Anthony’s Cathedral, you can see work by Fatima Alam, one of the six Sudanese photographers featured in Postcards from Khartoum.

Since 2023, a bloody civil war has torn Sudan apart, resulting in millions of displaced people and a major humanitarian disaster. The young photographers, who have often had to flee, reflect on their beloved home and their current place of residence. Yet these images show not only loss, but also resilience and hope.
