At De Botanist, in the well-known Bredase building 'de Trapkes', you can enjoy 'fine dining', a drink with small bites, or a cocktail from the specially equipped cocktail bar. On weekends, the DJ provides matching music after dinner to enhance the atmosphere.

Besides à la carte, you can also opt for dinner platters in a particular style, with meat, fish, and vegetables optimally combined by the chefs.

Under the dining tables, a visible piece of Breda’s old city wall lies, along with the foundations of the 14th-century toll bridge over the river Nieuwe Mark. Through a glass viewing panel in the restaurant, you can see the remnants, although they are not accessible to visitors. So, you can only admire them from above.
