Café Markhoek

Café De Markhoek has been located on the Marksingel in Breda for 25 years. Under the management of Hans and Conny Burgers, it has grown into a well-known spot in the neighbourhood. You can go there for a drink, but it is also the regular lunch spot of Prins Carnaval and a popular stop for NAC supporters. For many local residents, it feels like a second home.

This café is one of the few authentic brown cafés in Breda. Inside, you'll see cacti on the windowsill, authentic and beautiful furniture, and a genuine communal table.
