Café de Halte

The café is located in the building that has been home to Breda's first and oldest gay café since 1967 (second only to the oldest gay café in the Netherlands), and is a very welcoming and inclusive place for both the LGBTQ+ community and heterosexuals.

Expect a diverse crowd, with a good mix of ages and backgrounds. There is a relaxed atmosphere, making everyone feel at home quickly and easily making connections.

It is the ideal spot to have a fun chat with friends over a drink. Every Friday and Saturday, DJs play, and regularly, events are organised such as themed nights, drag shows, or performances by (Dutch-language) artists. The café features a very nice sound system and extensive lighting.
