<p>Do you know that feeling? You come home from doing your groceries and before you have unpacked your apples, peppers and pasta, your PMD (Plastic, Metal, Drink cartons) bin is already half full with plastic packaging material. During the national Waste-Free Week (25th to 31st May), Zero Waste Nederland is organising Walking Tours at various locations across the country.</p><p>Evelyn D’Hooghe and Els Franken, guides of the Zero Waste Tour in Breda, believe it is important to do grocery shopping without plastic. ‘I read about the plastic soup and the impact of all plastic pollution on our earth, air and water, and ultimately also in our bodies. By reducing plastic waste at home, I can contribute in my own way,’ says Evelyn. ‘Many people want to do this, but don't know where to start. While in Breda there are shops where bringing your own bag or container is not looked at strangely,' Els says.</p>
