Workshop: Take better photos with your smartphone

Of course, the necessary theory (such as composition and lighting) will be covered, and the most important functions on your smartphone will be explained. But you will also spend plenty of time putting the knowledge you have gained into practice.
There will therefore be lots of exercises during this workshop, both inside and outside the classroom. The exercises will be adapted depending on the weather. In good weather, there will be a longer photo walk through the city, with a few enjoyable photography locations (around Nieuwe Veste). Afterwards, you will look at and discuss the photos you have taken in the classroom. A fun and educational part of the photography learning process.

In the final part of the workshop, you will be introduced to photo editing. In the digital age, photo editing has become an essential part of photography, and the possibilities are numerous. Photo editing is not just about making the image look better; you can also make the image look more like what you saw with the naked eye. At the end of this workshop, you will have enough knowledge and skills to take beautiful—even more beautiful—photos!

Who is the workshop suitable for? Anyone who wants to learn to take better photos with their smartphone. Please bear in mind that this is a beginner’s course. This workshop is not intended for people who are already highly experienced in smartphone photography.
