In the drypoint technique, you scratch your drawing into a plastic plate with a fine steel needle. The lines created during printing have a soft appearance, which is characteristic of this technique! This intaglio technique was often used in printmaking, even by old masters such as Rembrandt van Rijn.

In the morning, we will create our drawings and etch them into the plate. In the afternoon, we will print the drawings with the etching press. This way, you can go home with your own prints at the end!
