The evening show “Club Tropicana” featuring a live concert and DJ is being presented to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the second studio album Make It Big, which was launched by WHAM! on 24 October 1984.WHAMANIA! is a live concert accompanied by a self-produced documentary on a big screen as a tribute to WHAM! Not only is WHAM! honoured, but the exceptional friendship between George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley is also highlighted. A friendship that led to successes such as Club Tropicana, Wake Me Up Before You Go Go, Freedom, Last Christmas, I’m Your Man, The Edge Of Heaven, as well as George Michael’s first solo successes: Careless Whisper and A Different Corner.George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley scored a total of five #1 hits in England and four in the Netherlands with WHAM!, including two solo songs by George Michael. For years, George and Andrew were a constant presence in the Top 10 charts, with hundreds of millions of fans worldwide and more than 30 million records sold. Later, Pepsi &amp; Shirlie also achieved two significant top-10 hits separately from WHAM!The role of George Michael is portrayed in WHAMANIA! by Jordan Roy, known from TV shows such as Better Than Ever (with an emotional and touching performance), X-Factor (where he was a runner-up with the pop group Adlicious) and The Voice of Holland where he sang WHAM!’s song The Edge of Heaven during The Knock Outs. This ignited an even greater love for George Michael, culminating in the solo theatre tour Freedom. A musical tribute to George Michael, with which Jordan Roy visited forty Dutch theatres with his live band.Bert van Gulik is responsible for the pre- and after-parties surrounding WHAMANIA!. Beforehand, the DJ plays hits from the period of 1975 to 1982 projected on a big screen. All the hits from that period that Andrew and George loved so much and practised their first dance steps to will be shown in music videos. After the show, the DJ spins the hottest late 80s and early 90s dance music on video. NETFLIX had the summer hit in 2023 with the release of the documentary about WHAM! That same year, WHAMANIA! began a grand tour of the most popular concert halls and theatres.

The 12-member band WHAMANIA! brings to life the early years of George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley, complete with brass instruments and of course Pepsi & Shirlie.
