Waar is mijn libido? + Q&A with award-winning director

Brabant filmmaker Nina Broers won a bronze Student Academy Award (Student Oscars). On 9 October, she will be a guest for a conversation at Filmhuis Botanique, where her award-winning film *Where is my libido?* will be screened.

Information

The young filmmaker and photographer Nina Broers has won a Student Academy Award (Bronze), the most prestigious international film award for students, with her production. This makes her only the fourth Dutch filmmaker and the first filmmaker from Brabant to receive this international award. Nearly three thousand aspiring film directors from around the world took part in what is officially known as the Student Academy Awards competition—the ‘Student Oscars’. On 9 October, her award-winning short film—and documentary-style making-of, in which everything has been carefully staged—will be shown at Filmhuis Botanique. Afterwards, Broers will speak with the audience during a Q&A / talk show hosted by Fleur van der Colk, a film-directing student in Brussels and a familiar face at the cinema.
