THOR at Chassé Theater

The Ballet Orchestra, in collaboration with ISH Dance Collective, presents the musical theatre production THOR. An epic storytelling in classical music, hip-hop dance, and spoken word, based on the stories from the Edda, Norse mythology.

Information

Musicians and dancers tell the story of Thor and his friend Loki who go on an adventure together. They discover the power of nature, celebrate with gods, and fight over Thor's hammer. An exciting performance about power, deception, and friendship, with a live 43-piece orchestra, for families with children aged 8 and over.

Thor, son of chief god Odin, is a rebellious child. With the lightning goddesses, he drinks beer and beats up giants. But then he receives the wonder hammer Mjöllnir from fire spirit Loki, a gift that seals their friendship for life. When the troll king Prymr steals the hammer, a great adventure begins for Thor and Loki…
