The Slackers came together in Brooklyn in 1991 and have since become one of the most notable ska bands from New York. For 33 years, the band has been touring the world with their mix of ska, reggae, and soul and has released fifteen albums and countless singles, from ‘Better Late Than Never’ to the self-titled album ‘The Slackers’. In 2022, their latest album ‘Don’t Let The Sunlight Fool Ya’ was released, which quickly shot to the top of the American Billboard charts. They are currently working on new music and a remake of their album ‘Close My Eyes’ to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the album. The Slackers have won many hearts worldwide in recent years with their fantastic horn section, rock-solid rhythm section, and powerful arrangements. In September, it will be MEZZ's turn! “We’re a cult band.
