(Sur)Render is a radical call to come together and find a new shared frequency. Can we dance together? 

It is an old story; humanity losing and then finding each other again. Nevertheless, the necessity to find each other again this time, to give a new meaning to humanity, may be greater than ever.

In (Sur)Render, theatre maker and choreographer Alida Dors searches for a 'new we'. By letting go of what provides safety, the journey through the surreal landscapes of our minds leads to unexpected destinations. Who dares to descend into themselves and allow new worlds to emerge from there?

Together with her dancers and the band HAYP, Alida Dors creates a new chapter with (Sur)Render following the success of Closed Eyes; a total experience featuring enchanting dance, uplifting music, flowing poetry, and dreamy visuals. With the overarching question: how do we move forward as humans?
