On Sunday 6 July, The Small Town Big Band will conclude the Memorial Music concert series for the time being with a lively repertoire that beautifully complements the atmosphere and mission of the Maczek Memorial Breda.
With these concerts, the Maczek Memorial keeps the story of liberation by the First Polish Armoured Division alive and reflects on enduring values such as peace, freedom, democracy, respect, and equality.
The experienced Breda-based big band, led by Adri Kas, takes the audience on a musical journey through classic swing, Latin, and modern jazz – from Blue Skies to Moanin’. The music reflects the resilience and diversity that are so characteristic of freedom.
In case of dry weather, the concert will take place on the forecourt of the Memorial, with ample seating and the impressive liberation wall as a fitting backdrop. If it rains, the concert will be held indoors at the Memorial.
