Sinterklaas at Phoenix

While the rest of the Netherlands scatters pepernoten and reads out wish lists, he emerges from the mist: SATANKLAAS! Those who visit him won’t be rewarded with chocolate letters, but with pounding riffs, thundering drums and vocal lines that lash your eardrums. Three bands are pulled from his black sack by Satanklaas himself for a wonderfully metal evening!

Razorblade Messiah - Old-school metal from Rotterdam, rooted in the great thrashers of the ’80s, with a generous dose of heavy, speed and power metal. Razor-sharp riffs, fiery guitar solos and an explosive live show.

Hallowed Fire - Five-piece thrash metal band who have shared the stage with Angelus Apatrida, Exhorder, Evil Invaders and Flotsam and Jetsam, and played at Rock Circus and Baroeg Open Air.

De Stoeptegels - Dutch-language party (grind) punk with crazy stage outfits, a punky attitude and a love of a cold beer. Leave the shoe in the cupboard this year: at Phoenix, the boot is brimming with energy, chaos and merciless riffs!
