Sinterklaas Arrival in Princenhage

Before Sinterklaas arrives at the Haagsemarkt, the children there can learn dances from the Dance Piets from 1.00 pm onwards. They can then show them to Sinterklaas when he is at the Haagsemarkt between 1.30 and 2.00 pm. From there, Sinterklaas will take a short tour through Princenhage from 2.00 pm onwards.

The tour ends at De Koe Community Centre on Ambachtenlaan. From 2.00 to 3.30 pm, there will be a children’s party with lots of music, treats and fun for children up to and including 8 years old. Sinterklaas will be there too. Parents can enjoy a pleasant afternoon in De Koe’s Flemish Barn.

At the end, the children will receive a small gift. Admission to the afternoon party is €1.85 per child.
The colouring sheets with QR codes will be distributed through the three Princenhage schools (Sinte Maerte, 1ste Rith and de Avonturier) and the shopkeepers. By scanning the QR code, you can purchase an admission ticket – after the start of the Sinterklaasjournaal.
