Sam Bettens in the Walloon Church

Sam Bettens, the multi-platinum-stem behind K's Choice, begins a new chapter with the album 'Coming Home'. A new sound that is deeply personal and authentic country and Americana. The inspiration for this sound lies in Tennessee, where Sam Bettens lived and worked as a firefighter for 15 years. Those lived-in American experiences are immediately audible. No manufactured country clichés, but top-quality songs sung with that recognisable, raw voice, which knows exactly how to tell a story. 

For the recording of 'Coming Home', Sam Bettens traveled to Nashville. None other than Tom Bukovac (four-time ACM Guitar Player of the Year) took responsibility for the production and assembled legendary studio musicians around him. The result? A sound that feels both fresh and mature, made for wide-open roads and intimate venues. In the Waalse Kerk, Sam Bettens’s voice wraps around you like a warm blanket for a peaceful evening and reflective moments.
