Rootsriders & Mo Ali ‘Exodus50’ at MEZZ
Rootsriders return in 2027 with a tribute to Marley’s most successful studio album. After the failed assassination attempt on his life, the ‘King of Reggae’ left for London, where Exodus was recorded. The album features many of his best-known songs, including the classics ‘Jamming’, ‘Waiting in Vain’, ‘Three Little Birds’ and ‘One Love (People Get Ready)’. The album will be performed in its entirety and in the original track order.

For many years, Rootsriders have been regarded as one of the best and most successful Bob Marley tribute bands in the world, with over 2,000 performances to their name. With current vocalist Mo Ali, whose voice recalls the young Bob Marley, few Marley tribute acts can match the quality of Rootsriders. The band have performed everywhere from New York to Dubai and Copenhagen to Johannesburg, where Rootsriders provided the official half-time show during the FIFA World Cup final between the Netherlands and Spain, for 50,000 ecstatic spectators.
