Preliminary Round Bands/singer-songwriters Grote Prijs Breda @ Phoenix
On Friday 2 October, the second preliminary round in the ‘Bands & Singer-songwriters’ category of the Grote Prijs Breda will take place at Poppodium Phoenix! Three acts will compete for a place in the hotly contested final on Sunday 15 November at MEZZ.

Breda is full of talent, and it’s time to present an award. This talent deserves recognition. That’s why we are joining forces with POB Breda, Poppodium Phoenix, Pier15, Sound Dog and Breda Barst to give Breda’s talent the platform it deserves.
During the three preliminary rounds in the ‘Bands & Singer-songwriters’ category, the finalists will be selected by the professional jury. The three finalists will compete in the final on Sunday 15 November at MEZZ for the title of ‘Grote Prijs Breda 2026’.
The prize package includes various performances in Breda, a cash prize of €1,000, a fantastic award, two free rehearsals at Phoenix, two free rehearsals at Sound Dog and professional guidance for six months.
