POB parade @ Lievense: Gods of Grunge

During the POB parade, Café Lievense is the domain of raw guitars, dark melodies, and uncompromising energy.

Information

Gods of Grunge brings an afternoon and evening where the spirit of the ’90s comes to life, with a mix of pure unplugged grunge, solid rock, and modern, hard riffs.

Program
At 3:30 PM, Slugde Factory opens with an intense Alice in Chains Unplugged Tribute. With the vocals of Arno van der Borst and guitar work by Erik Fridzema, a sober yet powerful set emerges with classics like Rooster, Nutshell, and Down in a Hole.

At 5:00 PM, it’s the turn of Full Moon, a rock band from Oosterhout with a solid and recognizable sound: heavy rock, funk, and influences from the raw ’90s. Their album "Little Do We Know" brought the band onto stages and festivals across the country. H

At 6:30 PM, Baneham closes the day with a wall of sound that grabs you by the throat. Their grungy lyrics, heavy breakdowns, and energetic punk beats create an explosive mix for lovers of raw, hard music. This modern metal band combines brutal riffs with catchy melodies and vocals.

Three bands take you from subdued unplugged grunge to heavy rock and culminate in an all-destroying finale. The magic of the Seattle sound lives again, right in Café Lievense.
