Please Hold My Hand at Chassé Theater

The choreography Please Hold My Hand addresses an important and topical subject: the role of women in a world that is out of balance. It shows how women live in a reality not made for them, where they face inequality, boundary-crossing behavior, and violence. Their strength and perseverance deserve attention and respect. In the Netherlands, for example, a woman is murdered every eight days, highlighting that safety for women is not a given.

From this idea, a dance performance was created that feels like a visual poem. It demonstrates how women, even in difficult situations, foster connection and balance. Four dancers move together like waves through a landscape of flower petals, inspired by the seasons and each other.
