Pier15 x MEZZ: TAXITAXI
Punk boyband TAXITAXI delivers absurd boyband punk with songs that rarely exceed two minutes and a hysterical live show at express-train speed. TAXITAXI tears full-throttle through schools, supermarkets, churches and clinics, and everyone has to come along. GET IN.
Information
The band was formed for a single show at a DIY festival in 2023, but quickly started attracting sold-out crowds. At Paaspop, they even almost literally broke the tent because the audience went so wild that the floor threatened to collapse. In 2026, their second album, ‘LEPELTJE LEPELTJE LEPELTJE’, was released, they played double bills with KABOUTERTJE PUTLUCHT and now, after a busy festival summer including Jera On Air, Zwarte Cross and Huntenpop, Pieter wants them to become a disco band. ‘DISCODISCO’ will be released in January 2027.
