Instead of starting with predetermined ideas, they embraced a spontaneous and playful approach to writing songs. They sent sounds, samples and jokes to each other, allowing the music to develop in unexpected ways until Aili felt the lyrics emerging. Following the success of their debut album ‘Nandakke?’, they are ready to present a new chapter in spring 2027: their second album, 'Care Wa Doko?'. The record was born out of resistance to the pressure to remain constantly relevant and keep producing in a world that is continually overstimulating and changing. Musically, the album forms a dynamic bridge connecting Europe with Asian pop nostalgia. Beneath its punchy exterior lies rich production with a deep, immersive sound. The duo combines experimental synthpop and tight leftfield electronica with the warm, refined melodies of Japanese city pop from the eighties. The result is a blend of deep synth bass lines and infectious grooves that feels both timeless and innovative.
