Nusantara Beat, the six-piece band from Amsterdam, has quickly grown into an act that you must see. Close to their Indonesian roots and passionate about their cultural heritage, they bring a fresh and modern perspective on traditional Indonesian music. They create a unique sound that blends traditional Indonesian music from the 20th century with their own style and creativity. The result is a mix of tropical and mystical sounds that take the audience on a journey to the land of their ancestors. 

But Nusantara Beat is not just about honouring tradition. They also aim to showcase the rich diversity of Indonesian music and carry it into the future. They now perform on international stages such as Beaches Brew in Italy, Lowlands in the Netherlands, and FIP Radio in Paris. The band's first single was played on FIP Radio. Among the festivals they have performed at are Beaches Brew (IT), Dekmantel (NL), and Lowlands (NL).
