Over the past few decades, Nashville Pussy has spread its sleazy gospel alongside Motörhead in every rock outpost from Asia to Europe and back. Nashville Pussy quickly gained a reputation as ‘AC/DC with a female Angus’ with Ruyter’s blues meets punk ecstatic guitar solos and Blaine’s hilarious ‘jailhouse nursery rhyme’ lyrics.Their debut album ‘Let Them Eat Pussy’ was recorded and mixed in 5 days, picked up by Mercury Records for a multimillion-dollar contract and nominated for a Grammy. Their songs have been featured in Entourage, Super Troopers, Cartoon Network, and Jackass The Game.Once the whisky bottles were empty, Nashville Pussy rocked. Six studio albums later, the band has played for hundreds of thousands of fans in nearly forty countries and shared stages with some of the biggest bands in the world, including ZZTOP, Marilyn Manson, SLAYER, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, and LYNYRD SKYNYRD.“We’ve played everywhere, from small dive bars to 20,000-seat festivals in Sweden,” Suys adds. “We don’t care how many people are in front of us. Raised on a diet of Marshall stacks, Gibson guitars, and Jack Daniels, Nashville Pussy is the offspring of foul-mouthed hillbilly ice cream man Blaine Cartwright and tractor-riding, art school model, and guitar prodigy Ruyter Suys.
